Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support maintenance operations across multiple communities.
- Partner with on-site Property Managers and Maintenance Supervisors to drive performance and consistency.
- Oversee unit turns, work order execution, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, siding, and carpentry issues.
- Establish and improve standard operating procedures and maintenance best practices.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop maintenance team members.
- Manage vendor relationships, pricing, performance, and quality control.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Travel regularly to properties to support field teams and conduct site visits.
- 8 years of maintenance, facilities, or property operations experience (multi-site preferred).
- Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and trades.
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
- EPA Universal HVAC Certification
- CAMT, CPO, OSHA, or similar certifications
