Job Summary We’re seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills, basic plumbing, and the ability to handle a variety of repair and assembly tasks. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, performing precision measurements, and using a range of tools to keep our facility running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate repairs.
- Basic Assembly & Woodworking: Handle basic assembly tasks and minor woodworking needs, ensuring that any fixtures or fittings are properly installed.
- Use of Hand and Power Tools: Confidently use all hand tools and power tools required for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Plumbing and General Maintenance: Perform basic plumbing repairs and general facility upkeep.
- Supplier Interaction & Escalation: Communicate effectively with equipment suppliers and know when to escalate complex issues.
- Precision Measurement and Alignment: Read and interpret precision measuring tools to ensure equipment is set up accurately and aligned to specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with the ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Basic plumbing and assembly skills, including minor woodworking.
- Strong communication skills for vendor interaction and problem escalation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Experience in precision equipment setup and alignment.
- Electrician certification is a plus.
