Job Overview:
Odie is looking for a savvy, creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing team. You’ll shape how customers experience our brand, from the emails they receive to the landing pages they interact with, helping to identify growth opportunities and optimize key parts of the funnel. Your work will directly impact engagement, conversion, and customer loyalty. This role is ideal for someone who loves all things pets, creative problem-solving, making data-based decisions, and creating experiences and messaging that resonate with users.
Responsibilities:
Email & Lifecycle Marketing
- Create, write, design, and launch lifecycle email journeys, automated workflows, and one-off campaigns in Customer.io to drive conversion, retention, and engagement.
- Develop and maintain audience segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver relevant, timely messaging across user cohorts.
- Continuously optimize campaigns and automated flows via A/B testing of subject lines, copy, CTAs, visual elements, and send-time strategies.
Website & Conversion Optimization
- Manage daily marketing site operations, including homepage updates, landing page creation, testing, and UX improvements.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to analyze funnel performance; identify drop-off points and conversion and optimization opportunities.
Content & B2B Marketing Support
- Work closely with the CMO and CEO in executing the B2B content and outreach strategy, including content coordination, email outreach, and lead-nurture development.
- Build and manage B2B user journeys and email lifecycle flows, optimizing them for lead qualification, education, and conversion.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, report, and analyze KPIs, including traffic, performance, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and deliverability metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, or growth marketing.
- Strong writing skills with a focus on customer-first communication.
- Awareness of digital best practices for content, design, and user experience.
- Ability to write, create, and design emails, build landing pages, and make basic content and design updates.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to refine strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Customer.io or a similar ESP, and WordPress preferred
- Familiarity with the pet insurance or related industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
Salary : $70 - $75
