The ideal person will facilitate client meetings, develop and respond to requests for proposals, create staffing models and pricing analyses to properly service the customer.
- Own and drive the national Developer Services sales strategy, developing and executing a comprehensive growth plan aligned with Odevo’s overall business objectives. This includes designing, implementing, and continuously refining a standardized sales process that ensures disciplined execution, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and measurable results.
- Accountable for achieving and exceeding established sales and revenue goals established during annual budget process. Set clear performance targets, monitor KPIs, and drive accountability across operating companies to ensure consistent execution and delivery of results. Maintain all sales activity in HubSpot.
- Lead, mentor, partner with, and drive accountability across operating companies’ business development teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on execution excellence, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain close relationships with developer clients and reduce client churn while increasing long-term developer retention by ensuring strong onboarding, seamless transitions to operating companies, proactive relationship management, and consistent delivery against developer expectations.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with national and regional developers, understanding their business models, growth strategies, and operational needs to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Attend networking events, identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand Odevo’s presence within the developer ecosystem across key U.S. markets.
- Partner with operating companies to establish developer relationships and ensure successful transition and integration of new accounts, maintaining alignment between sales commitments and operational execution.
- Oversee the development of proposals, RFP responses, staffing models, and pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and operational feasibility.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends, using HubSpot and sales analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments and leadership reporting.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and areas for expansion within the developer services space.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of developer strategies and consistent delivery of value.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on sales performance, pipeline development, churn metrics, market intelligence, and strategic initiatives.

This is a full-time exempt position. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company
Travel
Travel will be required to attend company meetings, trainings and industry functions, as well as visits with clients throughout the US.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within property management or developer services industry.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with developers and securing significant business deals.
- Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and sales analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and the ability to translate technical needs into business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
