Position Details:
- Shift: FT Nights
- Hours: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am)
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment
- Relocation assistance available
Job Summary:
- Provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in the antepartum unit.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families about pregnancy complications, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency protocols.
- Support patients emotionally and psychologically during prolonged hospital stays or complex pregnancies.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS certification
- NRP and STABLE certification
- COAP and Suicide Prevention course
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
