Job Summary:
- Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors.
- Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.
- Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the field.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
