Description
Supports the revenue capture and daily charge reconciliation processes by partnering with the directors of revenue related departments within the health system, to optimize the charge capture process. Responsible for the maintenance of the charge description master, including CPT updates, pricing, and process definition/control between the clinical departments and the charge description master. May manage a team of revenue integrity analysts performing daily charge and claim edit reviews (pre-bill and post bill), overseeing the maintenance of accounts requirement modifiers, condition codes and charge corrections, while optimizing charging/coding accuracy and compliance. Provides education on CMS charging compliance and protocols where applicable. Works with a high degree of autonomy, performing various audits with little supervision. Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse required.
