What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athena Build Coordinator - Odessa Medical Group position at Odessa Regional Medical Center?
Train new providers and clinical staff on how to use athenaClinicals
· Assists in EMR/EPM deployment/adoption problem resolution
· Support new hires including onsite office presence as needed
· Conduct workflow assessments and collaborate with QHC Corporate athenaClinical team to identify gaps
and implementation needs
· Maintain and cultivate strong working relationships with QHC Corporate athenaClinical team
· Develop necessary training materials, tools and schedules to ensure successful Athena implementation,
training, education, optimization.
· Create and maintain a clinical optimization plan for the market in partnership with divisional leadership
· Works collaboratively with providers and clinic staff to ensure the EMR clinical supports compliance with
quality measures and meaningful use objectives that effect clinical process
· Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Athena as it relates to content and describe it to varied
audiences
· Attend and actively participate in all required implementation and enterprise-wide AMR calls
· Maintain and monitor clinical inboxes and interface error queue daily
· Provide general guidance and direction on the overall applicable workflows
· Troubleshoot interface issues and assist in collector and communicator functionality
· Round with all clinicians and clinical staff at least once a month to ensure clinical process are complaint
and identify any challenges
· Provide ongoing education/training/support to providers and clinic staff in areas relevant to Athena
optimization
· Track and document all relevant build changes (e.g., TAO, procedure temples, order mappings)
· Develop training programs/materials, workflow designs, “how-to” guides and assignment grids
· Promote and enforce QHC standards workflows and best practices
