The Downstream Account Manager will be responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing Odessa Pumps (a DNOW Company) overall footprint within the Downstream/Industrial Sector, and will act as the representative of DNOW for specific customers, maintaining and enhancing the business relationships with those companies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary focus will be driving sales through focused strategies within the Downstream/Industrial Sector. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within current and prospective customers. Develop Accounts to strategically grow revenue within the assigned Downstream/Industrial Market. Meets or exceed sales goals by retaining current customers and taking market share from the competition. Responsible for business development, identifying market trends, and gaining competitive knowledge. Develop and execute a strategy to close new opportunities within the Downstream/Industrial Market. Possesses strong communications skills when projects and customers cross territories. Performs other duties as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with extensive contacts of end users in the Downstream/Industrial Market. Relevant business knowledge of Downstream/Industrial Market products and service offerings. MS Office skills (Excel and Word). Oral and written communication skills, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills. Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams. Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times. Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs. Strong work ethic and integrity, positive and assertive attitude. Maintain and enhance good working relationships with customers. Detail-oriented, organized and analytical, goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure.
