About the Role
We’re hiring a Bookkeeping Clerk I to support our growing client base. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, team-focused, and comfortable jumping into established systems. Our ideal hire communicates well, works collaboratively, and is open to constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
- Enter and categorize financial data in QuickBooks Online
- Review receipts and attach documentation
- Verify and categorize bills, invoices, and checks.
- Identify cleanup needs and maintain accurate client files
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Handle digital filing, client communication, and routine office tasks
- Assist with spreadsheets and basic calculations
- Communicate issues promptly with clients and the team
- Work closely with supervisors and follow established procedures
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years bookkeeping or related experience (preferred)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Clear communicator who asks questions and collaborates well
- Coachable and comfortable receiving feedback
