What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker/Machine Operator position at Oddello Industries, LLC?
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations. Duties could include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, cleaning, assembling products, general carpentry and/or construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Follow technical instructions for product being assembled
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
- Follow company procedures and directives
- Check products for defects
- Maintain the tools and equipment used
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Proficient knowledge in mathematics to make measurements and complete other precision tasks.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of use of hand tools, power tools and construction tools
- Willingness to work in a flexible work environment, with transfers to various job duties, as business needs change
Physical Demands and Abilities:
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching
- Able to lift 50 pounds, occasionally
- Available to work weekends or overtime, as needed
- Regularly uses hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects
- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
- Ability to walk long distances and work in moderate heat/cold, with occasional exposure to outdoors weather conditions.
- Analytical, multi-tasking and critical thinking required
