What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate position at Odd Side Ales?
Odd Side Ales is seeking a quality minded individual to fill a position at our Pub locations This position is Mon-Thu 6am-4pm.
Job Duties Include:
- Safely delivering kegs, cases, and other goods to our 2 taproom locations
- Maintaining clean and safe cold rooms
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and draft lines
- Other duties at the production facility as needed
Skills/Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a production environment kitchen is a plus
- Forklift certification and/or experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical background is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A problem solver with attention to detail and a joy to clean
- Work independently and within a team with minimal supervision
- Work well at following procedure
- Work well under pressure and at a fast pace
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, sometimes 8 hours
- Ability to handle repetitive work with a positive attitude
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds and double stack full kegs (175lbs)
- Must be willing to work in wet and/or cold/hot conditions
- Available to work long and/or flexible hours Monday-Friday
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
- Must be over 21 with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must LOVE beer!
