Mover/Helper

Odd job squad llc is looking for movers and helpers. I’m in search of 1 person to help me delivery mattresses and box springs. we have a warehouse on 29th st where all the products come into And I handle all of that. what I’m looking for is a person that can ride with me to deliver The beds with me. it’s 2-4 days per week Monday - Sunday days vary it wont be everyday. i load the truck up the day prior to delivery and the morning of we meet at the warehouse and take a 26ft Penske to our destination which would be whatever city we are in that day. We are contracted through a company called CFS which Is a fundraising company that works directly with high schools. they fundraise/sell beds and give money back to the highschool programs. odd job squad does all the logistics and back end work once they have a sale at a school we deliver all the products 1-2 weeks after once they arrive at our warehouse. the pay for this starts at $10 per stop (house). we typically go out on any given day with roughly 18-25 stops. we do the entire school in one day delivery beds to customers door steps unless they pay for white glove delivery which then we do a full set up for them. we average 4 stops per hour so you can do the math on wages. some days will be harder than others we do at times take away the customers existing beds if they paid for removal. I ask that you can team lift up to 150 lb. And that you remain professional and leave a good impression for each customers so they come back and help support the schools every year. We do have 3 territories throughout Michigan and we service all 3.

Job Requirements:
·Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
·Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
·Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
·Must have basic knowledge of moving and handling tools. (We provide training on tools and techniques when needed)
·Must be organized and detail oriented.
·Must have a positive attitude and be able to work with a sense of urgency. We are a busy company and need people who are looking to share the workload with their co-workers.

Pay: $400.00 - $800.00 per week
