What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unite Manager LPN or RN position at ODD Fellows Home of Massachusetts?
As the Unit Manager some of your essential job responsibilities include:
· Provides for the delivery of professional nursing care and ensures compliance in accordance with state licensure laws
· Ensures that resident care policies and procedures are followed by nursing service personnel in compliance with center quality standards
· Observes and assesses residents on the assigned unit and makes appropriate nursing decisions
· The ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
· Valid and current state LPN or RN license - RN preferred
· Excellent customer service abilities including effective listening skills
· Critical thinking skills
· Decisive judgment
· Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
· Must be covid vaccinated plus the booster
