What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at ODD Fellows Home of Massachusetts?
As the Registered Nurse (RN) some of your essential job responsibilities include:
- Directs and participates in the day to day resident care activities
- Provides for the delivery of professional nursing care and ensures compliance in accordance with state licensure laws
- Ensures that resident care policies and procedures are followed by nursing service personnel in compliance with center quality standards
- Observes and assesses residents on assigned unit and makes appropriate nursing decisions
- The ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Valid and current state RN license
- Excellent customer service abilities including effective listening skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgment
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Must be covid vaccinated plus the booster
