Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research and Development (R/D) Intern with a strong focus on exploring emerging technologies, investigating novel solutions, and conducting proof-of-concept work. This role is primarily research-driven, with development responsibilities centered around building prototypes and validating research findings. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and thrives at the intersection of theory and applied experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct indepth research into emerging technologies, frameworks, and methodologies relevant to our industry.
- Translate research insights into prototypes, proofs of concept, and technical demos. If identified as a project to pursue to a proof of concept.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evaluate feasibility, scalability, and potential impact of new solutions.
- Perform literature reviews, benchmarking, and competitive analyses to stay ahead of trends.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and outcomes in clear, structured reports.
- Provide technical recommendations to guide longterm product and innovation strategy.
- Engage in crossfunctional collaboration with data science, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to align research priorities with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, business, engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong foundation in research methodologies, data analysis, and experimental design.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript) to build prototypes.
- Familiarity with academic/industry research practices
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into actionable insights and tangible prototypes.
- Excellent problemsolving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Cloud computing experience (preferably AWS)
