Summary
The Building Maintenance Technician performs general facility maintenance, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and grounds upkeep to help maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance, minor repairs, painting, cleaning, and facility upkeep.
- Complete basic carpentry and structural repairs, including doors, walls, partitions, and workbenches.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance such as replacing light fixtures, repairing cords, and minor equipment repairs.
- Maintain exterior grounds and landscaping.
- Keep walkways safe during winter weather through shoveling, snow blowing, and salting.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including CNC oil and coolant checks and routine clean-outs.
- Maintain clean and organized plant and maintenance areas.
- Pick up and transport tools, parts, supplies, and small equipment as needed.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment after completing required training.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
- Perform work in accordance with applicable OSHA and other federal, state, and local safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Previous building, facility, or general maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and general repair work.
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
- Ability to complete company-provided forklift and lift equipment training.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions and safely perform hands-on maintenance work, including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary : $20 - $25
