CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.
- Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT or New York, NY.***
THE WORK YOU'LL DO
- Manage 3 – 5 sponsor properties on behalf of the client team, enhancing contractual rights and building impactful, fully integrated campaigns
- Support the development of integrated annual sponsorship activation plans, initiatives, and campaigns
- Oversee multiple sponsorship project work-streams from development through execution and results reporting
- Ensure all assets—on-site, experiential, digital, media and hospitality—are properly tracked, managed, and fulfilled
- Ability to act as lead day to day contact for the client – proactively handle requests and develop projects with clear objectives and strategic alignment
- Develop and deliver key documents to include senior executive presentations, strategic recommendations, competitive reports, standard process guides, and case studies
- Lead inter-agency projects and campaign development with key specialty areas including strategy, experiential, creative, and digital
- Independently interact with client and sponsor property team's, leading weekly status calls with internal & external partners to ensure projects are properly tracking towards completion
- Guide client decision making across short-term activation strategy and long-term portfolio strategy
- Synthesize partner feedback and offer best-in-class examples, continually revising programs to fit our partner's needs
- Build and cultivate positive client relationships
- Become an authority on our client's business and their competitive set
- Lead monthly and annual finance processes to ensure timely and accurate billing cycles
- Potential to support other agency brand partner initiatives, as reasonably assigned

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5 years of work with an agency, brand, or property on integrated brand campaigns, specifically within U.S. domestic and global sports
- Understanding of sponsorships, terminology and make-up of the New York sports & entertainment landscape
- Superior verbal and written communicator - able to scale and adapt communications for different audiences to optimally and succinctly articulate agency positioning and expertise
- The ability to juggle multiple project-streams simultaneously, prioritizing appropriately based on strict timelines and client need
- The ability to work autonomously and independently, while knowing when to proactively speak up and seek collaboration or support
- Track record of success at cultivating positive agency client, vendor and property relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Teams; PowerPoint; Word; Excel)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed primarily within the Greater NYC region. Anticipated travel: Low (0-15%)

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
