The Controller will own the day-to-day operations of the close cycle. You'll manage the close process end-to-end, lead a team of Staff Accountants and AP Specialists, and play a central role in our ERP implementation. This is a high-impact role at a pivotal moment. The infrastructure you build over the next 18 months will serve a business that is actively acquiring, opening new distribution centers, and expanding nationally.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit support, with familiarity in GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, Excel, and other financial tools used for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site to collaborate effectively with team members, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting - required
