Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Reports To: Managing Director / C-Suite Leadership
Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative professional responsible for supporting marketing initiatives across digital content, brand development, proposal support, and executive-level coordination. This role requires a strong understanding of social media strategy, digital trends, and brand storytelling, paired with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
This is a multi-faceted, hands-on role for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, shifting between creative and operational tasks, and supporting both internal teams and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Content
- Develop and assist with social media content including reels, short-form video, static posts, and captions
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Support content calendars and scheduling in alignment with client goals and brand strategy
- Ensure all content follows established brand guidelines including tone of voice, visual style, and messaging
- Assist with mood boards, creative direction references, and content inspiration
Brand & Creative Support
- Help maintain consistency across brand assets, messaging, and visual identity
- Support the development of creative outlines, campaign concepts, and messaging frameworks
- Assist creative and account teams with organizing assets and references
RFP & Proposal Support
- Assist with RFP searches and tracking upcoming opportunities
- Support proposal development including outlines, research, and formatting
- Help ensure deadlines, compliance requirements, and submission details are met
Project Coordination & Executive Support
- Assist C-level executives with project coordination and day-to-day task management
- Help track deadlines, deliverables, and internal workflows across departments
- Coordinate communication between leadership, creative, account, and media teams
- Maintain organized documentation and project files
CRM & Administrative Support
- Manage and update CRM databases including client records, contacts, and lead tracking
- Assist with reporting, follow-ups, and internal documentation
- Support internal process improvements and organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital media, and content creation
- Experience with short-form video, reels, and trend-based content
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agency-style environment
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
