Job Description Marketing Specialist, Senior Under minimal direction, lead marketing and outreach efforts to grow vanpool participation and utilization. This role develops strategic partnerships, executes targeted campaigns, and drives innovative programs that expand ridership and support OCTA’s transportation goals. This is an exempt position in salary grade 190. Annual Salary: Min – $84,531.20 | Mid – $100,984.00 | Max – $117,416.00. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications. What You’ll Do Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising programs Lead vanpool sales strategies, outreach initiatives, and special events Build partnerships with businesses, schools, and community organizations Analyze data and trends to identify growth opportunities and expansion strategies Deliver presentations and pitches to stakeholders to drive program participation Manage marketing consultants, contracts, budgets, and procurement processes Create reports, transportation plans, and marketing materials Track campaign performance and optimize programs to meet ridership goals Plan and coordinate logistics for outreach events and promotional activities What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field Minimum of five years of professional marketing, promotions, or events experience Strong sales, outreach, and relationship-building skills Experience developing and managing marketing campaigns and budgets Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Spanish language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required Valid California driver’s license required Why You’ll Love It Here Play a key role in expanding sustainable transportation solutions Lead creative campaigns and community-focused initiatives Work with diverse stakeholders across business, education, and public sectors Make a measurable impact on ridership and regional mobility Marketing Specialist Under general supervision, increases vanpool participation and utilization by developing and maintaining partnerships with businesses, community groups, and educational institutions to promote, innovative marketing outreach programs.
