OCS is currently seeking an experienced Vocational Consultant to serve Lansing Michigan and the surrounding areas.
OCS is currently seeking an experienced vocational consultant to provide services in Lansing, Michigan and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE).
Travel may be required for initial client visits, with follow-up potentially completed telephonically.
Job Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Michigan, as required by law
- Have successfully completed a degree program in rehabilitation counseling, rehabilitation services, clinical rehabilitation counseling, counseling psychology, mental health counseling, career counseling, or social work from an accredited college or university.
- Willingness to travel within the State of Michigan
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, as well as effectively communicate with clients, families, external agencies, and the general public
- Solid understanding of vocational practices and procedures, including applicable state and federal regulations related to Workers' Compensation, Auto No-Fault, and Disability Insurance
- Ability to interpret and implement OCS’s programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure delivery of high-quality care
- Must maintain a functional home office setup
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
