We are seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk for our on-site office located in New York, NY. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for managing payroll processes, preparing and maintaining accurate payroll records, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations, and addressing employee payroll inquiries. Additional duties include collaborating with the accounting team, handling payroll discrepancies, and assisting in payroll-related audits as needed.
- Proficiency in Payroll Services, Payroll Administration, and Payroll Management
- Knowledge and experience with Payroll Taxes and Accounting practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with state and federal payroll regulations
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
