We are currently working with one of the world's leading global macro hedge funds to hire a Trade Assistant. Following significant growth in recent years, the business now has a global presence with offices across the US, Europe and Asia.
This is a unique position, sitting with the trading desk with great exposure to trading strategies, markets and execution.
The Role
This is a front-office facing role offering close interaction with Portfolio Managers, Traders and Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring trade capture to ensure positions are accurately reflected across internal systems, partnering with Operations to facilitate timely settlement, providing day-to-day trade support to the investment team, supporting futures roll activity and other key trading lifecycle events, and working alongside Technology teams to enhance and automate trading processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a trading desk within either a buy-side firm or an investment bank. They will possess a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle across listed and OTC products, together with a proactive approach and a genuine interest in process improvement, automation and operational excellence.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
