Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for client service requests, including policy changes, billing questions, and coverage inquiries
- Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements accurately and in a timely manner
- Review insurance policies for accuracy and completeness; identify and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, verify coverage, and resolve issues
- Assist clients in understanding their coverage options and policy details
- Maintain detailed and organized client records in agency management systems
- Support account managers and producers with administrative and service-related tasks
- Ensure compliance with agency standards, industry regulations, and company procedures
- Follow up on outstanding items such as documentation, signatures, and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client retention and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- CISR designation or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
- Active insurance license preferred (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health, as applicable)
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance or customer service preferred
