$155,000 - $300,000 Total annual compensation

• Litigation & Trial Practice (Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution, serve as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, and trials, handle complex, high-asset, and high-conflict cases, Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, depositions, and evidentiary preparation, Work with expert witnesses such as forensic accountants, custody evaluators, and appraisers)

• Case Strategy & Execution (Develop and carry out litigation strategy for each matter, assess case risks and realistic outcomes, negotiate settlements that protect client interests, keep cases moving efficiently toward resolution)

• Client Representation & Communication (Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, Set clear expectations and keep clients informed at every stage, Guide clients through emotionally difficult situations with professionalism and empathy, Maintain high client experience standards)

• Practice Excellence & Firm Contribution (Follow firm SOPs and legal systems, maintain strong billing practices and realization, collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on case work, contribute to firm culture and the firm's reputation in the legal community)

• What Success Looks Like as a Litigation Partner: A successful Litigation Partner will achieve strong outcomes for clients, manage a full caseload efficiently, maintain excellent client satisfaction, support healthy realization and collections, and represent the firm with skill and professionalism in and out of the courtroom. This role is a high-level litigation role built for an attorney who wants to focus on practicing law at its best.

Required:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing

• Minimum 5 years of family law litigation experience (including trial experience)

• Proven track record of managing complex cases independently from start to finish

• Strong courtroom, trial, and negotiation skills

• Strong legal judgment

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

• Strong emotional intelligence

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing deadlines

• Strong organizational and accountability skills

Preferred:

• Experience with high-asset or high-conflict divorce and custody matters

• Experience as first chair in contested trials

• Familiarity with business valuation, complex property division, or relocation cases

• Established relationships in the local family law community

• Experience in a high-volume law firm environment

Our primary office is in Westborough/Worcester, but also have an office in Hanover.
