O'Connell Motor Freight is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated grocery store account running out of Baltimore, MD. This is a regional position with no-touch freight, steady miles, weekly home time, and a clear pay package. Drivers average 1,900 miles per week and run freight to store locations across the Mid-Atlantic and nearby regional markets.
Pay and Lane Highlights
- Average weekly pay: $1,600
- Top weekly pay: $2,100
- CPM plus stop pay

- No-touch freight with drop-and-hook, preloaded trailers, and live unloads
- Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
- 53' dry van and reefer trailers
Route and Schedule
This dedicated lane starts in Baltimore, MD and delivers to store locations in PA, DE, NY, NJ, WV, VA, NC, and Washington, DC. There are no deliveries into NYC or the boroughs.
Drivers receive a 34-hour reset at home each week. Drivers who live close enough to the Baltimore yard may also get some 10-hour breaks at home, depending on freight and schedule.
Drivers must park the truck at the Baltimore yard and have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum tractor-trailer experience: 3 Months in the last 12 Months
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Baltimore yard
- Must be able to park the truck at the Baltimore yard
- Must meet company safety, MVR, DOT physical, and drug screening requirements
