- This position involves conducting site visits, researching property, reviewing zoning maps, and issuing citations as necessary.
- The selected candidate will work closely with contractors, property owners, developers, and other stakeholders to explain and interpret zoning regulations and land use policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with zoning regulations and land use policies by conducting inspections, reviewing plans and permits, and issuing certifications.
- Responds to inquiries, concerns, complaints, and requests for assistance from the public and other stakeholders.
- Liaises with local government agencies, contractors, and property owners to provide guidance and support on zoning-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least six months of experience in customer service, knowledge of magistrate court procedures, and understanding of basic zoning regulations.
- Certified AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) certification preferred.
