We're thrilled to welcome a Senior Electrical Cost Estimator to join our Dallas team! Responsibilities:
- Create estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development.
- Provide conceptual-level estimates, detailed quantity take-off, change order reviews/reconciliations, and value engineering solutions as necessary
- Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate client’s project and strategic goals
- Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures
- Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals
- Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining accuracy of cost information
- Support business development efforts by developing, promoting, and maintaining client relationships through the creation of cost exhibits for proposals, meetings, presentations, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years as a cost estimating professional, preferably as a consultant, to include, but not limited to conceptual estimating, take-offs, change order review/reconciliation, value engineering solutions, etc.
- Prior electrical estimating in complex instructional projects highly preferred
- Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications).
- Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred.

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
