Role Description
The Senior IT Manager is a hands-on technology leader responsible for the operational excellence, security, scalability, and reliability of the company’s IT environment across multiple U.S. locations. This role supports 700 associates, manages the IT service desk and infrastructure, oversees Microsoft cloud and security platforms, and leads a small but highly impactful support team.
This position combines strategic ownership with day-to-day execution, serving as the primary escalation point for critical issues while driving continuous improvement, security posture, and IT maturity across the organization.
Essential Duties and Qualifications:
This is a full-time position that requires regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. To perform this job effectively, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
IT Operations & Service Management
- Own and manage IT service delivery across all locations using the HALO ticketing system.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve SLAs, KPIs, and service standards.
- Manage and mentor 2 service technicians, supporting 700 associates via Microsoft Teams, phone, and email.
- Serve as final escalation point for complex and critical technical issues, including after-hours incidents when required.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality IT support and user experience organization-wide.
Microsoft 365, Identity & Cloud Administration
· Own administration and governance of the Microsoft 365 tenant, including:
· Entra ID (Azure AD), identity lifecycle management, and conditional access
· Licensing strategy, optimization, and compliance
· SharePoint Online, Teams, and collaboration platforms
· Support and guide the use of Azure-hosted technologies, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability.
- Define and enforce Microsoft platform standards and best practices.
Network, Infrastructure & End-User Systems
- Oversee network infrastructure across all locations, including:
- LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi
- Firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access
- ISP relationships and connectivity uptime
- Maintain deep hands-on knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, and troubleshooting.
- Own lifecycle management for endpoints, servers, and IT assets.
Security, Risk & Compliance
- Lead IT security management, including identity, endpoint, and access controls.
