Corporate Controller
Location: East Bay, CA (3x)
Duration : Direct Hire
Salary Range : $250 - 300k (base)
Required experience include:
-Prior public company experience w/ SEC reporting
-Big 4/CPA
-Cost Accounting
Responsibilities:
• Led and optimized monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, including financial statement preparation, audit support, and internal controls compliance to support timely public company reporting requirements. Oversaw review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and adherence to US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Owned revenue recognition processes in partnership with Finance and commercial teams, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue, rebates in compliance with US GAAP. Supported development and enhancement of revenue accounting policies, controls, and reporting processes.
• Directed cost accounting operations with deep analysis of product cost drivers, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances to improve gross margins and operational efficiency. Extensive experience supporting both internal manufacturing and contract manufacturing environments, including standard costing, margin analysis, and comprehensive cost reporting.
Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
