What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Dietitian position at OCM BOCES?

Division: Administration
Location: Various districts in Onondaga, Cortland and Madison Counties
Duties: This position supports multiple participating school district Food Service Programs, their directors, and school health personnel. Duties include: menu and recipe planning and development; the calculation, writing and coordination of special diets for students with food allergies or other dietary restrictions; responding to parent concerns; working with district wellness committees; etc.
Qualifications: Must be registered by the American Dietetic Association. Graduation from a regionally accredit or NYS registered college with a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, food science, or a closely related field and either: A) Successful completion of three (3) credit hours in food service management; or B) successful completion of an internship in food management or a closely related field; or C) six (6) months of work experience or its part-time equivalent in school food service management.
Pay: $38.91 - $43.17 per hour
