THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We’re looking for passionate and empathetic people to join our team as Retina Photographers . Our Photographers , support our technicians that are responsible for all the pre-exam elements of the patient visit. This includes gathering and documenting patient information and history and conducting routine and ancillary patient testing. You’ll play a vital role in the patients’ experience with OCLI and in helping our doctors to diagnose and treat eye disorders.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

• You’ll t est and record patient's far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception
• You’ll apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing
• You’ll t riage emergency cases appropriately into physicians’ schedul e and maintai n patient flow
• You’ll p repare patient and procedure room and assist ophthalmologist with procedures as needed
• You’ll p erform first level maintenance on equipment and notif y the office manager of any equipment malfunctions
• You will be expected to utilize , as appropriate , infection control techniques and universal precautions , and to maintain confidentiality at all times

• You’re outgoing, you love the idea of interacting with patients everyday
• You’re comfortable providing white glove service and responding quickly to our patients needs
• You’re a dependable problem solver – you’re the one people call to keep cool in stressful situations
• You have a positive, can-do attitude and work well in collaborative environments
• You’re flexible – you roll with the punches and easily accept change
• You’re k nowledgeable in ocular pharmacology such as anesthetics, steroids, antibiotics, mydriatics and cycloplegics, epinephrine, miotics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories is a PLUS, but not a requirement
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
