The Opportunity
We’re hiring a fully trained Ophthalmic Technician 2 with 2 years of refracting experience. You’ll handle pre-exam workups, patient history, and diagnostic testing—playing a key role in patient care and supporting our physicians in diagnosing and treating eye conditions.

What You’ll Do
- Perform vision testing: distance/near acuity, peripheral vision, depth & color perception
- Apply anesthetic, dilating, and medicated drops
- Collect/process specimens
- Triage urgent cases and maintain clinic flow
- Prep rooms and assist physicians during procedures
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Follow infection-control and confidentiality standards
- Ability to work across all specialties and perform all ancillary tasks
- Minimum 2 years refracting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Patient-focused, outgoing, and service-oriented
- Calm, dependable problem-solver
- Positive attitude; strong team player
- Flexible and comfortable with change
- Ocular pharmacology knowledge is a plus, not required
- Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 10 lbs
