The Role
We’re hiring compassionate and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technicians and Scribes to support our providers and enhance the patient experience.
In this role, you’ll perform pre-exam testing, document patient encounters in the EMR, assist during exams and procedures, and help ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
You play a key role in helping our physicians diagnose and treat eye conditions.

You play a key role in helping our physicians diagnose and treat eye conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and document patient history
- Perform vision testing (distance, near, peripheral, depth, color)
- Administer eye drops (dilating, anesthetic, medicated)
- Conduct routine and ancillary ophthalmic testing
- Scribe and document provider findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Triage urgent cases and maintain patient flow
- Prepare exam/procedure rooms and assist physicians as needed
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Follow infection control and confidentiality standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- EMR experience preferred
- Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs
