The Opportunity
Join our team as an Ophthalmic Scribe/Technician! You’ll play a key role in the patient experience—assisting providers, performing eye tests, documenting exams, and ensuring every patient receives exceptional care.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare charts/EMRs and exam rooms
- Record patient history, testing results, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Perform eye tests (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, etc.)
- Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures
- Maintain equipment and manage patient flow
- Ensure infection control and confidentiality at all times
- 2–3 years in an ophthalmic or medical setting
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Experience as a Medical Scribe or Ophthalmic Technician (COA/COT) preferred
- Knowledge of ocular pharmacology a plus
- Friendly, dependable, and adaptable team player
