Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients; manage front desk operations
- Coordinate complex provider surgical calendars
- Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage multiple EMR/EHR systems
- Collection of patient outstanding fees for scheduled procedure and/or payment responsibilities (Copay, Deductibe)
- Manage patient flow and support providers and clinical staff
- Handle medical records and sensitive patient information
- Provide administrative support as needed
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems a plus, Nexgen and iMedicware Preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable transportation required
Salary : $21 - $25
