Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responds to reported work orders and performs general repairs.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
- Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes.
- Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot.
- Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secured.
- Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation.
- Operates common power and hand tools safely.
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Daily duties will be consistent. We maintain the entire building over 6-month intervals. Some items require weekly or monthly maintenance. Organization skills are paramount.
