What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammographer position at OCH Regional Medical Center?
Performs Mammograms and Dexa exams for diagnostic interpretation under the direction of the Director of Radiology and guidance of the Radiologists. Mammography exams include but are not limited to 3D, 2D exams and stereotactic biopsies. Will assist with ACR accreditation. Patient population served includes adolescents to geriatrics.
- Must be a graduate of an approved two-year program
- Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible; will obtain registry 3 - 6 months after hire date
- New graduates are eligible
- Must possess a current state license
- Must have current BLS
- Must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team
- Must be available for rotating M-F; 8-hour shifts. No holiday or weekend shifts
Experience
Preferred- 1 - 2 years: 1-2 years. Clinical Experience is accepted.
Education
Preferred- Associate in Applied Sciences or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- ARRTM - Mammography
- ARRT - Radiologic Tech
