Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team that is available for our lunch shift during 11am to 4pm. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills| and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure guests are seated in a timely manner.
- Handle reservations and walk-in guests with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist in answering phone calls, taking reservations, and providing information about the menu and specials.
- Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure seamless service throughout the dining experience.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus.
- Ability to manage guest relations effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
