Caregiver (PSS)

Are you a PSS/Caregiver looking for a supportive place to work? OceanView at Falmouth is hiring for our Assisted Living and Legacy Memory Care, as well as our Falmouth House communities! We are currently seeking Part-Time and Per Diem PSS/Caregivers to join our team.

Your Role:

At our Legacy Memory Care Community, you'll embrace a person-centered approach, recognizing each resident's unique history, preferences, and remaining abilities. Your role involves compassionately assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), fostering engagement in life enrichment programs, and diligently observing and reporting any changes in well-being or safety.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one year of similar experience providing direct care in a similar environment is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Experience exercising good judgment in a variety of challenging circumstances is also required.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED is required.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

CNA or PSS preferred, no certification required if over the age of 18 with a willingness to learn the required skills

Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified within six months of hire.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (in a usual workday)

Sit Total hours/day 1.5 Hours at one time .25

Stand Total hours/day 7.0 Hours at one time 4.0

Walk Total hours/day 3.0 Hours at one time 1.0

Compensation

$19.50-$21.70 per hour depending on experience and certification(s).
