The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until canceled. There is currently ONE position open in the Information Technology Department. This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position. Under general guidance, to perform complex system and procedural analysis and design; to guide program design and development; and to perform related work as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS Incumbents in this class work without close supervision and utilize creative and technical skills in systems design.
