What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator position at Oceanside Care Center.?
To complete daily nursing (DON/RN/LPN/CNA) staffing for both Oceanside and Tybee Island
To be on call when staff are not able to attend and to fill any vacancies from floor staff. Communicate with Administrator and DON is needs arise.
Post staffing vacancies to our company preferred agency BRAVO and other ancillary staffing agencies to ensure that both Oceanside and Tybee are adequately staffed
Work closely with Administrator and Director of Nursing with all staffing issues
Must be technology literate and able to function in a stressful environment
High school diploma required
Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to handle difficult employees when it pertains to staffing.
Must be able to post schedules on our payroll application called EMPEON and on paper to nursing staff and post daily.
Must be able to calculate daily PPD (or be trained to do so) and ensure our buildings remain a a 2.5 PPD daily.
Ensure there is an RN everyday 7 days a week (including weekends). RN's must work a minimum of 8 hours per day (excluding lunch)
Other duties as assigned.
