Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a senior care facility specializing in memory care and long-term care services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in healthcare management, and a compassionate approach to working with residents with diverse needs, including those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. As an Administrator, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a positive environment for residents and staff alike.
Operational and Administrative Duties:
- Direct and coordinate the daily operations of the nursing home.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement facility [policies and procedures.
- Manage the facility's budget, financial planning, and accounting records.
- Oversee the physical maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds.
- Manage the overall operations of the facility, including staff supervision, resident care, and administrative functions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to individual resident needs, ensuring personalized attention and quality of life.
- Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient facility operation.
Staff and Resident Management:
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all staff members.
- Manage staff scheduling and address conflicts.
- Ensure high-quality resident care, including admissions, assessments , and discharges.
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
- Address and resolve complaints from residents and their families.
Required Qualifications:
- A valid, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator's license in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration preferred.
- Must have at least (3) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.
- Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
