EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education: • Valid Education Specialist Teaching Credential with an authorization in Early Childhood Special Education (newer ECSE credential or Education Specialist Bridge Authorization in Early Childhood Special Education required) • EL authorization or equivalent is required. • Autism Spectrum Authorization; • Possession of valid, current CPR and First Aid certifications is required or obtain within two months of employment is required (Medically Fragile SSD Preschool) • Master's Degree in Education or related field is preferred; Experience: • Recent successful experience working with children with special needs and willingness to work with staff members and management in a collaborative manner. • 5 years previous public school teaching experience accepted for placement on the Teacher's Salary Schedule Documents Required:
