Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and efficient cashier to join our team. This is a year-round position. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask taking food orders, handling transactions and assisting with some restaurant functions.
Duties
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using a Toast POS system.
- Take and process online and telephone orders.
- Make basic coffee and Espresso drinks.
- Verify orders and get them ready for pick up.
- Adhere to food handling safety standards when processing food items.
- Assist with bussing duties, ensuring that the store remains tidy and presentable.
- Assist with basic food prep when needed.
- Restock disposables and bottled drinks at end of shift.
- Assist with basic cleaning duties at end of shift.
Experience
- Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience in food handling or culinary settings is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
