With a competitive starting pay, and a cohesive "family-like" work environment, an In-home Paraprofessional at Ocean State Behavioral will work under a primary therapist to administer in-home behavioral treatment. You will help to implement a service plan that has been crafted by a professional therapist overseeing the case, alongside a client's family and/or guardian(s).
This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and demonstrating sound judgement while providing at least the minimum standard of care according to program standards and principles of "good practice."

Requirements:
- Be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent AND At least one year of supervised experience working children or adults with developmental disabilities;
- OR
- Be at least 19 years old with an Associate's degree in Human Services (i.e., psychology, counseling, child development, or other related field) AND some behavioral experience.
- Must provide a current BCI check from RI Attorney General's Office and allow the agency to run a DCYF CANTS clearance check.
- Must have Vehicle, no history of DUI, a year free of vehicle accidents, valid vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration, and valid state inspection sticker.
Job Duties:
- Implementing a treatment plan that is developed by the child's family and the agency.
- Providing guidance and redirection for the individual with special needs.
- Writing organized and detailed shift notes and meeting with a licensed clinician twice a month to discuss and work on service plan goals.
- Providing feedback to the agency on service plan goals.
