- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Provide accurate wait times and assist guests in making informed decisions about seating preferences.
- Maintain an organized and clean host/host station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to date.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant, taking reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding guest needs and special requests.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests during peak hours to minimize wait times while maintaining high service standards.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution that enhances guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
