HIRE DATE: AUGUST 2026
REPORTS TO: Chief of Instructional Technology
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent training or experience.
- Install, configure and upgrade computer hardware, peripherals and software.
- Diagnose, repair and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and software systems.
- Maintain and update records of repair/maintenance work performed within the school district utilizing online help desk application.
- Ensure anti-virus software is installed, properly configured, and regularly updated.
- Assist District personnel in use of computer systems and applications as necessary.
- Install and maintain approved software utilized within the district.
- Work with and help coordinate service and warranty contracts with outside vendors.
- Perform basic network communications troubleshooting and repair as needed
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds
SALARY: Commensurate with the Ocean Springs Salary Schedule for classified positions for the 2026-2027 school year
