POSITION: KINDERGARTEN AND 1st GRADE ASSISTANT TEACHERS - PARAPROFESSIONAL
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Completed at least 2 years of study (48 semester hours) at an institution of higher education; or
- Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or Passed the ACT Work Keys-Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics and Writing Subtests
- Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community
- Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds
SALARY: Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for classified positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
